Day 1- Beirut – Paris - Mexico - Cancun
  • Departure at noon to Cancun
  • Night stay in Cancun

Day 2- Cancun – Chichén Itzá – Izamal - Merida (385km)
  • Off to Chichén Itzá and visit this superb Mayan site, with its famous “El Castillo” pyramid, dedicated to Kukulkán, the warriors’ temple, the Chac Mol tomb, the famous sacred cenote (place of the sacrifices) and the group of the thousand Columns.
  • After lunch, explore Izamal, a town built over the ruins of an important Mayan religious centre, dedicated to the Gods of Itzamna and Kinich Kalmó, God of the sun whose temple is today the only remnant.
  • The Spanish settlers had erected therein an important Franciscan monastery, the Convento San Antonio De Padua.
  • Continue towards Merida, the white colonial town by excellence, capital of the Yucatan State and prosperous cultural center.
  • Night stay in Merida

Day 3 – Merida – Celestún – Merida
  • In the morning, departure to the natural reserve of Celestun.
  • Enjoy the boat trip and admire the multiple bird species and an important colony of red flamingos. Visit to the ornithological reserve.
  • Enjoy a fish and seafood lunch.
  • Upon the return to Merida, visit the town and its splendid edifices.
  • Night stay in Merida

Day 4- Merida- Uxmal- Merida (225km)
  • Departure to discover a big Mayan site representing the Puuc style of the classical period: Uxmal, with its Devin pyramid, the ball game, admirably conserved and the astonishing quadrilateral of the Nuns.
  • Lunch at the hacienda Ochil and visit to the hacienda Yaxchopohil, which has preserved its original machinery used to make the Henequen.
  • Back to Merida at the end of the day

Day 5- Merida – Valladolid – Tulum- Cancun
  • In the morning, visit Valladolid, a colonial city pillaged by the Mayans at the nineteenth century.
  • After lunch, continue towards the Mayan site of Tulum, high wall in Mayan language, also called city of dawn.
  • Visit the ancient fortified city surrounded by a great wall and 12 m high cliffs overlooking the Caribbean Sea.
  • It became an important religious center as of the thirteenth century.
  • Discover the temples and palaces vestiges, including the Castillo that standing over a rocky platform above the sea.
  • Night stay in Cancun

Day 6 & 7 – Cancun
  • Free days to make the best of the beautiful beaches of Cancun

  • Departure towards Beirut
