Day 1
- Begin your visit in the Prado district, where you will meet the society back to the nineteenth century. Visit the Prado museum and then take a walk in the Parque Del Buen Retiro, an extraordinarily green space of get-together and relaxation.
- Continue your stroll to the Banco de España quarter to explore the treasures of the Thyssen-Bornemisza museum, one of the most stunning ones in Europe, gathering works of the most important artists, from Dürer to Warhol. In the late afternoon, take a taxi towards the colorful and avant-garde quarter of Chueca with its traditional stalls running alongside the most up-to-date boutiques.

Day 2
In the morning, the Puerta del Sol quarter, the forum of Madrid where all the Spanish roads radiate from and where the town main roads converge. Visit the Monasterio de las Descalzas Reales that hosts superb canvas and tapestry from the Spanish nobility. Later, towards la plaza Mayor, a very animated square with its Sunday markets and numerous café terraces among which you will chose one for lunch. Pay a visit to the royal palace in the afternoon while making a stop at the Palacio Real, an old residence of Spain kings radiant with beauty and wealth. End your visit with a tapas-break at the Café de Oriente, with the strategic view from its terrace.

Day 3
Head towards the picturesque and popular, original and cosmopolite Lavapiés quarter. Visit the Estación de Atocha station, a superb architecture with wrought iron and glass structures and a tropical garden and then make a tour near the Real Jardin Botaníco, a real peace haven. In the afternoon, visit La Latina and Le Rastro. This district, very animated with its very cute tapas bars, is where Madrid crowds gather up. If it’s Sunday, don’t miss the inescapable flea market of Rastro. In the end, a visit to the majestic Basilica of San Francisco el Grande is a must.
