Day 1: Beirut – Marseille
  • Departure from Beirut at 19:50. Arrival to Marseille at 23:10
  • Car collection and drive to your hotel in Aix-en-Provence
  • Night stay in Marseille boutique hotel

Day 2: Marseille – Cassis – Calanques
  • In the morning, stroll around Marseille. Head towards its historic colorful old port. Visit the Catholic Basilica in Marseille, Notre Dame de la Garde and the breathtaking panoramic view of the town. Drive to Cassis along the stretch of coastline “Corniche du Président-John-Fitzgerald-Kennedy”.
  • Lunch is served in Cassis. Cassis is famous for its highest sea cliffs but also its calanques & creeks ; fjord-like inlets carved into the white limestones. The tour will take about 45 mn to 1:10 h and you will see 3 to 5 calanques.
  • Next stop is Avigon (1 :30 by car)
  • Night stay in Aix-en-Provence

Day 3: Avignon '' les baux de Provence'', saint Remy
  • In the morning, you will visit Avigon, “Le palais des Papes” location of the Festival D’Avigon and St Bénezet Bridge.
  • Lunch will be served in one of the good restaurants on the town.
  • In the afternoon, head to Saint-Rémy-de-Provence (30 km from Avignon). It has a spectacular position in the Alpiles mountains, set on top of rocks and crowned with a ruined castle overlooking the planes in the South.
  • Night stay in Aix-en-Provence

Day 4: Arles & Camargue
  • In the morning, head towards Arles (47 mn from Avignon).
  • Arles was once a provincial capital of ancient Rome and it is known for many remains from that era including Arles amphitheatre now hosting plays & concerts. It is famed for inspiring the paintaings of Van Gogh.
  • Visit St Trophime Cloister & Cathedral.
  • Lunch in Arles
  • In the afternoon, head to The Camargue Regional Nature Park for an enchanting visit and then towards the medieval Aigues-Mortes commune and Saintes Maries de la mer, the capital of the Camargue.
  • Night stay in Aix-en-Provence

Day 5 : Roussillon – Gordes
  • You will visit Roussillon and the most colorful Carrières d’Ocre, also named Provencal Colorado.
  • After lunch, you will spend the afternoon in Gordes, a beautiful old village with stone houses built against the base of the cliff and perched on the rocks.

Day 6 : Marseille – Beirut
  • Departure around 11 am towards Marseille airport.
  • Car return.
  • Flight back to Beirut leaves at 14 :00 and reaches at 19 :00
