Day 1: Beirut – Moscow – Suzdal (220 km)
  • Arrival to Moscow. You will be met at the airport.
  • Departure to Suzdal by bus. Settle in to your hotel.

Day 2 : Suzdal – Vladimir (52 km)
  • Breakfast
  • Visit Suzdal on foot with a local French-speaking guide.
  • Suzdal is a real town-museum listed among UNESCO World Heritage Sites. You will visit the Kremlin, the Cathedral of the Nativity and the Savior Monastery of St. Euthymius, one of the city’s largest and richest monasteries (14th and 15th centuries).
  • Visit to the open air Museum of Wooden Architecture.
  • Departure to Vladimir.
  • Lunch in town.
  • City tour including a visit to the Dormition Cathedral, home to the frescoes of renowned painter Andrei Rublev.
  • Return to Suzdal. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 3 : Suzdal – Kostroma (185 km) – Yaroslavl (84 km)

  • Departure to Kostroma
  • Visit to the Hypatian Monastery, the Trinity Cathedral and the Church of Resurrection
  • Lunch in town and departure to Yaroslavl.
  • Panoramic city tour; you will visit the Transfiguration Monastery, home to the city’s treasures, particularly the superb collection of Yaroslavian icons.
  • Settle in to your hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 4 : Yarolavl – Rostov the Great (59 km) – Serguev Possad (159 km) – Moscow (75 km)

  • En route to Rostov. Visit the territory of the Kremlin and the Church of Resurrection

Day 5 : MOSCOW

  • City tour to discover the Historic Centre of Moscow and Kremlin’s old fortifications, the elegant architecture of the carousel, the Lomonosov University, the Cathedral of Vasily the Blessed, Red Square… Visit to the Convent of Novodevichy, the most beautiful of the fortified monasteries distributed in half-circle south Moscow. The Convent of Novodevichy is an exceptional example of the magnificently preserved monastic complex representative of the Muscovite Baroque architecture dating back to the end of the 17th century.
  • Lunch in town
  • In the afternoon, visit to the Kremlin, the country’s oldest fortress and the executive office of the president of Russia. With the help of your guide, you will delve into Russian history, from the unification of the Russian principalities around Moscow until the end of the Tataro-Mongol Yoke. You will visit the monuments listed among UNESCO World Heritage Sites, such as the Dormition Cathedral with its magnificent frescoes, the Tsar Cannon and Ivan the Great Bell Tower.

Day 6 : Moscow - St Petersburg
  • Breakfast
  • Visit to the Tretiakov Gallery located in the heart of the picturesque Zamoskvoretchye. It is the museum with the widest collection of Russian art in the world. Then, you will visit the most beautiful metro stations in Moscow, one of the largest subways that carries 7.3 million passengers every day, but also richly decorated « underground palaces », masterpieces of socialist realism filled with propaganda messages.
  • Transfer to the train station. Express Train Sapsan Moscow- St Petersburg, 2nd class.
  • Arrival to St Petersburg where you will be met by our guide.
  • Lunch in town followed by a walk along Arbat Street and visit to the Moscow Metro.

Day 7 : St Petersburg
  • Breakfast
  • City tour with a French-speaking guide. Discover St Petersburg as you walk down its charming streets. On Zayachiy Island, visit the Peter and Paul Fortress, cradle of the city with its high walls that house the Tombs of the Romanov Tsars.
  • Lunch in town
  • In the afternoon, canal cruise
  • Our recommendation for the evening: classical concert.

Day 8 : St Petersburg

  • Departure to Peterhof (Petrodvorets), visit to the park and the palace (the Grand Palace)
  • Lunch in town
  • Visit to the Hermitage, one of the most beautiful and richest museums in the world with roughly 60,000 works by masters of the greatest schools of art that have gone on display.
  • Free dinner time at the hotel.

Day 9 : St Petersburg
  • Breakfast
  • Departure to Pushkin, located outside St Petersburg, to visit the magnificent Catherine Palace. In 1710, Peter the Great offered his wife, the future queen Catherine the First, the farm of Tsarkoïe Siélo located in the forest south St Petersburg. There, she built a rather modest residence. It was her daughter Elizabeth that ordered the construction of a sumptuous palace by the architect Rastrelli. Completed in 1756, the palace was named after Catherine.
  • Lunch in town
  • Continue to Pavlovsk to visit the old residence of Emperor Paul the First, son of Catherine the Great.
  • Dinner and folklore show at Podvorye Restaurant
  • Return to the hotel in St Petersburg
